Welcome to Shri Aglod Tirth – the land blessed by the eternal divine presence of Lord Shri Manibhadra Vir. The land where millions of devotees flock every year to offer their prayers and receive the benedictions in return. Located on the small hilly region outside Aglod Village near Mehsana in North Gujarat, the seed of the foundation of Shri Aglod Mahatirth was sown by Param Pujya Acharya Dev Shriman Vijay Anandghansurishwarji Maharaj in his early days. Pious Muniraj, who was under deep meditation at a cave near Idar, was visited by the Aglod Jain Sangh in Vikram Samvat 2020. The Sangh requested him to grace the land of Aglod. Moved by their heartfelt pleas, Muniraj came to Aglod, stayed in a small dingy room, and resumed his sadhana. Aglod Sangh in his olden times was all about a deserted land with a barren patch where an ancient temple of Shri Manibhadra Vir, Adinath Paduka Mandir, Guru Paduka Mandir and some rooms were all there for the devotees who came to offer their prayers. With his mystic insight, Gurudev realized the divine aura of the land and initiated the idea of restoration of the land. His magical and powerful words illuminated the minds of Jain Sangh of Aglod and under his pious stewardship, the restoration work of Aglod Tirth commenced.
With untiring and consistent endeavors and also with the help of Gurudev Shri Labdhisagar, Shri Gurudev completed all the rituals to re-invoke the power of Manibhadra Vir. After seeking his blessings, there was no looking back. His sermons were like fuel to recharge the entire Sangh to actively work on the restoration of the Aglod Tirth! The journey of transformation of Aglod Tirth from Aglod Jain Sangh at every step was sanctified by stirring words by Gurudev. Gurudev himself left no stone unturned to bring his precious dream to reality. No obstacle or challenge could withstand his undeterred and firm resolve to transform the place into a revered pilgrim and center of faith for Jains across the world.
